Admissions - Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade

Thank you for your interest in Texoma Christian School. We hope the following information about our admissions procedure will make the process as easy and comfortable as possible.  For more information or a tour, please call our Office of Admissions at 903-893-7076.  For K - 5th grade contact Shelley Burley at ext. 219; for 6th - 12th grade contact Kathy Howard at ext. 205.

Application Requirements

• Application Fee - A non-refundable fee is to be submitted with the form. Click here: Tuition and Fees for appropriate amount.
• Personal Application (6th-12th only) Students Personal Application
• School Records:  

  (1) Previous report cards; (2) Most recent standardized test scores; (3) Educational diagnostic testing (if applicable); (4) Transcripts for any earned High School credit  Click here to download Student Records Release Form

• Teacher Recommendations - Kindergarten applicants must have one confidential Teacher Recommendation form. Applicants for first through twelfth grade must have two confidential teacher recommendation forms filled out by their most recent academic teacher(s).  For grades 6 - 12th the recommendations must come from the students English and Math teachers.  The teacher or school should send the forms directly to TCS. • Health Records - Up-to-date immunization records are required. Students who are not in compliance with state immunization guidelines will not be allowed to attend school.          

Admissions Testing

• Testing will be scheduled by the Admissions Office after the receipt of all required Admissions forms. TCS will administer the Stanford Diagnostic Test. Testing for all applicants is scheduled on an individual basis.

Parent Interview

• An interview appointment is made with the parents and a school administrator as a final step in the Admissions process for Kindergarten - 12th grade. All students are asked to accompany their parents for the interview.

Acceptance

• Official acceptance (or non-acceptance) will be communicated to all families in writing from the Head of School.
